What makes Titan stand out is that it comes in a two-part kit—a sand and resin mix combined with a hardener. Once mixed, it becomes a powerful jointing compound that sets fast and lasts for years.

It’s ready to use, suitable for natural stone, concrete, and porcelain paving, and works just as well in damp or cold weather. That means we don’t need to wait for a hot, dry day to get the job done—which is a huge bonus in the UK.

How to Apply ProJoint Titan

  1. Make sure joints are clean – At least 20mm deep and 5mm wide

  2. Mix the components – Add the hardener to the sand and resin mix

  3. Apply to wet paving – Pour the mixture over the surface while it’s damp

  4. Use a squeegee – Work the product into the joints until full

  5. Rinse the surface – Use clean water and a soft brush to remove residue

  6. Let it cure – Avoid walking on it for 12–24 hours depending on the weather

The setting time is quick, so we always make sure to mix only what we can use in about 20 minutes.

Coverage and Colours

Each 22.5kg tub of ProJoint Titan comes vacuum-packed and colour-coded by lid. You can choose from:

  • Neutral (buff)

  • Mid grey

  • Basalt (dark grey)

Coverage depends on the size of your joints and slabs. As a guide:

For 600x900mm slabs:

  • 5x25mm joints: approx. 52m²

  • 10x22mm joints: approx. 26m²

  • 15x22mm joints: approx. 15.5m²

For 200x100mm setts:

  • 5x25mm joints: approx. 8.4m²

  • 10x22mm joints: approx. 4.2m²

  • 15x22mm joints: approx. 2.8m²

We always double-check coverage based on the specific layout and gap size for each project.

What to Avoid When Using It

Although ProJoint Titan is simple to use, there are a few things we always avoid to make sure the job is done right:

  • Don’t apply to dry paving – It may leave staining on porous stone

  • Avoid using in direct sunlight – It’ll set too fast and be harder to clean off

  • Don’t mix too much at once – Use small batches to avoid waste

  • Never use with acid-based cleaners – The formula contains bleach and should not be mixed with acids

  • Keep away from ponds or aquariums – The bleach content is harmful to aquatic life
